Ruka Technologies holds all intellectual property rights relating to the elements and content of the Ruka Mobile Application. For this reason, any use whatsoever and/or any reproduction of all or part of an element of the Mobile Application would constitute an infringement.
Privacy policy
This personal data processing policy, which applies regardless of the means or medium used to access the Ruka mobile application and its subdomains and services (hereinafter referred to as the “Mobile Application”), sets out the conditions under which, when you use the Mobile Application, we collect, store, use and safeguard information about you. This may include your personal data, as well as the choices you have regarding the collection, use and disclosure of this information.
By accessing and/or using the Mobile Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions contained herein.
If you do not agree with this policy, you must not use the Mobile Application and its related services and you should not provide us with your personal data.

In general, you must log in to browse the Mobile Application. To do so, you can simply register manually or via social networks (Facebook or Google) to create an account on the Mobile Application.
You will be asked to provide personal data for :
- Create a customer account and place a request ;
- Initiate a service request ;
- Leave a comment and rate a service.
Some of the personal data you may be asked to provide is mandatory. Mandatory data is indicated by an alert or visual notification, while other data is optional.

- Requests:Ruka Technologies collects customers’ personal data to manage their requests for services and, in particular, to forward requests to professionals, as well as to process any complaints. In addition,

- Manage requests for access, rectification and opposition rights;

Article 5 – Recipients of collected personal data

In addition, only customer data required to process service requests (i.e. first name(s), address and telephone number(s)) may be communicated to professionals and vice versa via the platform. Professionals do not save this data. They are displayed on the Mobile Application and cannot be retrieved or saved without the explicit consent of the company.

may also publish your reviews and requests on third-party mobile applications. These notices and requests, which contain only your first name and the first letter of your surname/family name, are visible to the public.
In accordance with legal requirements, Ruka Technologies may also disclose data to third parties when it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations that may involve potential threats to the physical integrity and safety of any person or if we believe, _at our sole discretion_, that your use is in fact inconsistent with this document or with the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Mobile Application.
Furthermore, personal data may be disclosed to a third party ifRuka Technologies is required to do so by law or regulation, by court order or, if such disclosure is necessary in connection with an investigation or proceeding, at home or abroad and by virtue of legal agreements between countries.
Article 6 – Data retention and deletion
Ruka retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Users may request account deletion through the website.

- For the life of users’ accounts if such data is necessary to provide our services. E.g., account data.
Users may request deletion of their account through the Privacy menus in the Ruka app, or through Ruka’s website.
Following an account deletion request, we delete the user’s account and data, except as necessary for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention or compliance with legal requirements, or because of issues relating to the user’s account (such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute). We generally delete data within 90 days of an account deletion request, except where retention is necessary for the above reasons.
Article 7 – Technical mechanisms used to secure personal data

has implemented standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, disclosure or unauthorized access.
Access to your customer area, which contains your personal data, is only possible via a unique identifier, which is your e-mail address, or via social networks (Facebook or Google). In the event that you no longer have access to Ruka from your usual login (for whatever reason, e.g. lost, forgotten, etc.), you should immediately contact Ruka support, the number of which is displayed on the www.getruka.com website. You must not disclose or make available this information to others.
Article 8 – Rights to personal data
In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, you have the following rights:

at any time to modify or delete your personal information. You may exercise your right of access to your personal data by writing to the following e-mail address: support@getruka.com. In this case, before being able to assert this prerogative, we may request proof of the user’s identity, in order to verify compliance.
You can also request the correction or deletion of your personal data. We may retain certain information about you where we are required to do so by law or where we have a legitimate reason to do so, in particular if we believe that there has been fraud or a breach of the terms and conditions of use.
You have the right to object at any time to any use of your personal data for commercial prospecting purposes. You may also object to the sending of advertising messages from the mobile application

mobile application, free of charge, as soon as your account is created, by sending an e-mail to support@getruka.com.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you consider that we have not respected your rights.
Article 9 – Retention period for personal data
Your personal data will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above in article 4 of this document. Data used for commercial canvassing purposes are deleted within a maximum time limit of six (6) months from the completion of the contract or the last contact with the customer.
Beyond this period, your data will only be kept to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, or to enable us to establish proof of a right or contract.
Article 10 – Processing of personal data by mobile applications or third-party websites
This document applies solely to the Ruka Mobile Application through which

The Mobile Application may contain links to other websites or features that are not subject to our privacy policy and where privacy practices may differ from ours. Ruka Technologies does not own or operate these referring websites.
Users should familiarize themselves with the privacy warnings provided by websites, becauseRuka Technologies is not responsible for and has no control over the information collected, used, disclosed and more generally processed by third-party websites or mobile applications.
In addition, hyperlinks to partner websites sometimes offer games, competitions or promotions. By redirecting you to these sites, third parties may obtain personal data that you voluntarily submit to them in order to take advantage of this offer.

is not responsible for the use of your personal data by these third parties.
Article 11 – Modification of the personal data policy
